Her tryst with glamour industry began with a career in modeling back in 1972 after which she bagged her first film Charitra opposite Salim Durani.
Though the film didn’t do well at the box office, Parveen shined like star she was meant to be and was welcomed by Bollywood. Her first major success was with none other than Amitabh Bachchan in Majboor and then it was no turning back for her. Her most memorable character is that of Amitabh Bachchan’s love interest Jenny in Amar Akbar Anthony. With chiselled looks and a stylish wardrobe, Parveen managed to stand out from the rest of the heroines during her time.
