Supermoms to the rescue
When was the last time your mom pulled you out of trouble? I am sure it was yesterday, or maybe today? Well, isn't that what moms are for? And though many a time we take this super-woman quality of mom for granted, we are all thankful for this wonderful blessing called Mother.
Bollywood moms are no different. Rather, I think they have a tougher challenge of protecting their babies from the big bad world. Whenever our bollywood stars have landed themselves in a soup, the supermoms jump right on to their sides, for support, strength, and all the healing powers that only moms can provide.
Ranbir Kapoor was the new blue-eyed boy of Bollywood when he debuted in SLB's Saawariya in 2007. What followed was a romantic affair with the south Indian dimpled beauty Deepika Padukone. The affair of these two young hotties charmed everyone. However, when the two broke up in 2011, things got a bit ugly. Ranbir was linked-up with everyone and to make matters worse, his ex-girlfriend Deepika, suggested in a TV chat show that he endorse a comdom brand. The image turned overnight and Ranbir was tagged the new casanova.
It was during this time that Neetu jumped to her son's rescue. The young actor was spotted with his mother at events and even took her out for lunches and dinners. Ranbir then became the media's good, bad boy. That Ranbir went on to prove his mettle in acting is another story.
Priyanka Chopra found herself in a muddle when one of her team member passed away in LA during one of her trips abroad. When there was a delay in bringing back the body back to his hometown, Priyanka was subjected to a lot of speculation and accusations. However, Priyanka's team worked to reach the body to India on time. Priyanka's mom Dr. Madhu Chopra made sure she held on tight to her little girl as Peecee set to give her last respects.
Katrina Kaif is one actor who chooses to keep her private life, private. Even during her long, steady relationship with Salman Khan, never did she admit it in public, however apparent it was. After the break up, she has been linked with Ranbir Kapoor. A leading publication had reported that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were spotted in London watching Lincoln on New Years Eve. It was during Katrina's return from London that Suzanne Turquotte firmly escorted her daughter out of the Mumbai airport.
