Stars Wary of Controversy

According to a recent report, Imran Khan, the lead actor of Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is quite wary of controversies. He stated that the film touches on a taboo subject and although, it's not a controversial subject, it can be made to become one. "I`ll tell you what will happen, one week before the release someone will find a way to make it controversial, someone or the other will get offended, just see," he added.

Anushka is the daughter of Pankaj Kapoor and Imran Khan works for Kapoor. Shabana Azmi is local politician and things start to go wrong when Anushka gets involved with Shabana Azmi's son, Arya Babbar.
