When Hema Malini and Sridevi refused to see eye-to-eye
They have many a thing in common. Both of them hailing from the South, began their career in the Southern film industry. Known as traditional beauties, they made it very big in Bollywood.
It is therefore strange that Sridevi and Hema Malini seem to share cold vibes off late. This became very apparent at the recent Yash Chopra Memorial Award ceremony instituted by the TSR Foundation of T. Subbarami Reddy.
At the event where the melody queen Lata Mangeshkar was conferred the first Yash Chopra Memorial Award, Sridevi and Hema Malini at many occasions came face to face. However, to the surprise of everyone, the two ladies refused to see eye-to-eye, literally.
Sridevi and Hema Malini were last seen together at Sridevi's birthday bash organized by Boney Kapoor and Amar Singh in August this year. Hema had come to the bash with daughter Esha and son-in-law Bharat Takhtani. Here is the picture of Sri and Hema, which says volume of their friendship at the time.
