Say hello to Shah Rukh Khan Version 2.0
2012 was a year of controversies for the badshah of Bollywood. Shahrukh Khan was one of the top news makers with myriad of issues concerning his personal and professional life. Be it the Shirish Kunder controversy, the ugly brawl at Wankhede Stadium, or the romantic link-up with a certain actress the issues were many and the news not so sweet.
However, 2013 seems to be a lifesaver for the King Khan. There were numerous subtle but important changes in Shahrukh Khan's life that did not go unnoticed from our end. SRK may have thought that it was time to take things in his hands and give his life a new zeal. Perhaps, it was this that lead to the new and improved SRK - version 2.0.
A brand news Team SRK
Starting 2013, the first thing that SRK did was, make some changes in his work management. He hired a new publicist to perhaps give his 'public image' a new boost. The new publicist and team of SRK are seen touring with him everywhere. To add to this, there was also a shuffle in the Red Chillies Entertainment management staff. was appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company. Thus started a new phase and a new approach for SRK and his team.
SRK – The Family man
After a long span, Shahrukh Khan and his lovely wife Gauri came together for color co-ordinated outfits at the TOIFA Awards ceremony. The couple looked happy and in love. There were also appearances with kids Suhana and Aryan Khan. The close-knit family was also seen enjoying IPL matches and cheering for their team Kolkata Knight Riders.
A new chapter with AbRam
This was one news that took the nation by storm. The most admired and most popular couple in B-town was having a third baby after a good two decades of marriage. Shahrukh Khan announced the baby's arrival and the name he chose for his bundle of joy 'AbRam'. When someone asked him how he would define a father's role at home, the doting dad could not resist tweeting, "gently and kindly...sacrifice and keep everyone happy"
Letting bygones be bygones; SRK-Salman hug
Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan ended up their five-year misunderstanding with a hug at an Iftaari dinner evening. On this big change in his life SRK said, "What I feel for things, which are personal, I can't express them. Things happen, we meet people, we accept them, we love people, we leave people, we meet again and we accept them again. I don't know how to explain this".
A new style statement
Though SRK always maintains that he loves jeans and a white Tee the best, he has been often seen sporting a suit this year to most media events. Be it the scorching heat or a rainy evening, nothing has stopped the badshah from looking dapper in a black or grey suit. Perhaps an attempt to look more professional? Well, we love him either ways, don't we?
Well, so there. These are my observations on the changes in King Khan. What are your thoughts on this? Did you notice them too?
