Sanjay Leela Bhansali's showdown with a dance troupe
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is busy shooting for his mega movie 'Ram Leela' starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Known to be difficult task master, SLB apparently lost his cool during the shooting of a Gujrati dance number.
The story goes that the team was shooting for a Garbha number. There were a number of dancers on the sets and the director was not happy with one particular troupe who belonged to the team of Sameer and Arsh Tanna. The director voiced his thoughts in a rather rude way, hurting their regional sentiments. The dancers, though hurt, continued with the shoot. When the unit took their next break, the troupe retired to their vanity van not wanting to come back to the sets.
It was only when SLB went personally to them and apologized, did they reluctantly return to continue the shoot. Phew, like they say, all's well that ends well.
