Salman Khan saves Shuddhi?
Karan Malhotra's magnum opus 'Shuddhi' has been left in the lurch since it's stars Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan both left the project. While the producer Karan Johar did approach Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for the project, they both opted out, preferring to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani'.
Karan Johar then began approaching every actor in the fraternity to help revive the mystical love story, which he had announced with release in Christmas 2015. It appears that Salman Khan, may have to come to his rescue. Karan Johar recently had a meeting in Bandra, and Salman has green-lighted the script of the film.
Though the film has been placed on the backburner, Rahguvendra from filmfare confirms that Salman and Karan Johar are in talks for the film, and it will take a while for them to come to an agreement about it.
Apparently the logistics are all currently being worked out, though it may face a further delay - As Salman Khan has a jam-packed schedule and will not be able to allot the 180 dates immediately. Shuddhi is a love story based in several eras, between a King and his Queen that reincarnate.
