Salman Khan has made the 100 crore club his forte. Every film he touches turns to gold. No wonder the Indian television industry wants to bank the man with the Midas touch.

Rupert Murdoch's entertainment conglomerate Star India has finalised one of the biggest deals in entertainment industry with the superstar. The deal, which has now been confirmed by Salman himself has been estimated to be between 450 crore and 500 crore, and it makes Star the only satellite medium for any film that Salman releases in the next 5 years after Dabangg 2. This deal is also a first ever in India.

Star India's Chief Operating Officer Sanjay Gupta says, "It is reasonably long and big."

The next five known releases of Salman include Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick , brother Sohail Khan's next film, Boney Kapoor's sequel to No Entry , Dabangg3 as well as Sooraj Barjatya's next movie.

And these films will add to Star's repertoire which already includes Dabangg, Wanted, Ready, Bodyguard, Tere Naam, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya and now Dabangg 2, which it bagged for 50 crore for 11 years a year before its release.

Salman has managed huge TRPs in the past including a whopping 10.3 for the Bodyguard premiere.

Apart from Salman, Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan have managed to sell their latest films at an extremely high and exclusive rate. But Salman is certainly the winner in this race!
