Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone to Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja: Bollywood Couples we wish to get hitched in 2018

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's hush-hush marriage in Tuscany, Italy, shocked everyone! The couple got hitched in a private ceremony on December 11, 2017, thus legalising their eternal bond after dating for four years. 

With Virushka's wedding bells come and gone and as we bid adieu to 2k17 and an aloha to 2018, we made a wish list of Bollywood couples who we hope will get married this year!

The first to top our list has to be DeepVeer. The couple is rumoured to be dating for many years since they made their onscreen debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie Goliyon Ki Rasleela - Ram Leela (2013). Their offscreen chemistry is palpable and we're rooting for them to get hitched before the end of this year. 

When a leading magazine had asked Deepika if she plans to settle in 2018, the actress revealed, "I can't put a year to it. Honestly, I've never been able to do anything that is time bound. I believe relationships have their way of unfolding. As far as my equation with him is concerned, I am sure that will unfold in its own manner. I can't wait to be a homemaker. Because from the time I was a little girl, I've always wanted to be that. I've always wanted to start a family,"

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja

We can all agree that Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are one of the cutest couples in Bollywood. Sonam is known to be an extremely private person when it comes to her love life and refuses to divulge details about Anand. On the other hand, their social media pages are filled with loved-up selfies and vacation photos. One can only imagine how fashionable Sonam Ki Wedding will be!

Recently, when Sonam was quizzed about her relationship status with Anand by a leading daily, the actress said, "I don't want it to be written about. That has to be under my control. Everything else in my life is completely out of control. People are always saying things about me, on social media. They are always judging the way I look, the way I stand, the way I eat, the way I act, the way I speak. I need to protect others who come into my life because that person hasn't signed up for what I have. Why should he or she have to go through that? It's not fair. It's private and I don't believe in talking about it. I will not hide it but I will not talk about it either."

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are the old school childhood sweethearts in love. Natasha has been there with Varun ever since he made his big Bollywood debut in Karan Johar's Student of the Year (2012). Recently, rumours were rife about an alleged breakup but those rumours were put to rest thanks to Natasha's appearances at Varun's housewarming party and a lunch with Varun's entire family. A traditional wedding for these two will be a magical fairytale, indeed!

Before shifting to his new abode, when a leading daily asked Varun if marriage was on his mind, Varun revealed to the daily, "No, it has still not started crossing my mind. I have a big thing in front of me that is going to take off — I have to ready my house, which is downstairs [from his family home in Juhu]. That’s the prime focus right now in terms of what I want to achieve. Once that is done, I will think about everything else. It’s still being readied. My mother is doing the interiors."

Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani

Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani are one of those couples who are in the "rumoured dating" stage but their chemistry had a different story to tell. The couple who will be starring in Baaghi 2 have been spotted on multiple dates and are very close. We would love to see them getting hitched soon!

During Koffee With Karan, when Karan Johar grilled Tiger about his relationship status with Disha, the actor revealed, "I have very few friends. I'm not very social and in the industry, I have two-three friends, Disha being one of them. She lives close by. We have a common friends circle and we meet every now and then for coffee," and added, "She's so pretty that she makes me look better. She's a very good-looking girl."

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa

Rajkummar and Patralekhaa make for one adorable couple. They starred in Citylights (2014) which showcased their crackling chemistry and it is their offscreen goofiness which compliments their relationship. Their recent trip to Bangkok only solidifies their bond and hopefully, we hear wedding bells from these two soon!

When a leading daily asked Rajkummar about settling down with Patralekhaa, the actor revealed, "Not right now. Both of us want to focus on our respective careers, and we’re not thinking about it. Marriage will happen for sure — but I don’t know when."
