There were rumours of Rani Mukerji being pregnant after she visited the sets of dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa”, but the actress rubbished them. And now we know the reason behind Rani’s sudden weight gain.
The actress is reportedly gearing up to play the role of Haseena Parkar, gangster Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, in a project by Apoorva Lakhia.
A source said that the “Mardaani” actress has been gaining weight to look like the character of Haseena Parkar in Haseena.
Apoorva had been researching on Haseena Parkar, and has also registered the title Haseena. The movie is said to go on floors in September.
