Priyanka Chopra Opens Up About Her “Traumatic But Truthful” Year
In a tete-a tete with , Priyanka Chopra bared her heart about her “traumatic but truthful year.”
Speaking about her supposed affair with SRK and the public spat with Karan Johar, Priyanka said, " None of my co-actors or directors ever turned their backs on me. That’s a misconception. There may have been a few people, a few rumours and a few articles, but that always happens to everyone."
She brushed the issue aside by saying, “Like I said, ups and downs come and go, but nothing that mattered to me ever changed. It was more of a power play. Also, because I wasn’t talking about it, my silence was misinterpreted. But had I reacted, 10 more articles would have been written. In any case, it didn’t matter, because it wasn’t so important to me.”
She was deliciously coy about finding true love. When asked whether she would marry an actor, she replied, "It doesn’t matter if the guy is a musician, actor, engineer, businessman or a doctor. He should be able to make me laugh, and make me feel special, the way my dad does. And that’s a very high standard!”
When asked whether she had met anyone who was close to her standard, she cryptically replied, "Yes, close. But not close enough…"
Well, her answers only make fans wonder whether there is more to her replies than what meets the eye.
