Preity Defers Ishkq In Paris For A Third Time; No Release Date Fixed Yet
Preity Zinta, producer of Ishkq in Paris, has decided to defer the film’s release indefinitely. Preity has decided to put the film in cold storage until director Prem Raj, diagnosed with cancer recently, recovers from his illness and completes pending post-production activities.
After deferring the release twice in the past, Preity had been working very hard for the film’s promotion and had even roped in Salman Khan for the film’s music launch. Preity has deferred the film’s release for a third time and even a tentative release date has not been fixed yet.
The director offered to step back but reports that Preity chose to defer the launch instead. With the director indisposed and no release date in sight, there are worries whether the film will be released at all.
Fans have always reacted negatively to movies released after repeated delays. Virtually no such movie has done well at the box office. The fate of Ishkq in Paris seems uncertain as the director is leaving for treatment in December and nobody knows when the film will be released, if ever.
