This year, we got to see many power-packed performances by the Bollywood actors like Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, and Shahid Kapoor. These actors were those who were trending on our website all throughout the year. 

Ranveer Singh 

This year truly belongs to Ranveer Singh and there are many reasons which made him trend throughout 2018. Starting from his performance as Alauddin Khilji to his wedding with Deepika Padukone, Ranveer grabbed all the headlines. He was appreciated for his role in Padmaavat. Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding was one lavish affair and their photos are trending all over the internet. He has also been in news for his upcoming film, Simmba. 

Ranbir Kapoor 

Ranbir Kapoor gave his career’s one of the best performances in Sanju. He got into the skin of his character and delivered a powerful performance. He lifted the mannerisms of Sanjay Dutt and the uncanny resemblance between the two actors just made it grander. The film did wonders at the box office. Not just professionally, Ranbir was even in highlights for his relationship with Alia Bhatt. Their photos went viral on the internet. Ranbir also talked about his relationship with Alia openly in the public. They made their first appearance at Soman Kapoor’s wedding and since then, they are been in the news. 

Salman Khan

Salman Khan was trending first for Race 3, but the film proved to be a dud at the box office. Then, he was in the headlines for finally getting Priyanka Chopra on board for the film Bharat. After PeeCee made an exit, Katrina Kaif was asked to join the cast. Well, Salman yet again was embroiled in a controversy related to the blackbuck case. A local court sentenced Salman Khan to five years in jail for having poached two blackbucks almost 20 years ago. The pictures of him in the jail went viral and fans on the social media platform went berserk. 

Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan needs no reason to be in the top 5 list. He is the evergreen charmer and never fails to impress his fans. Shah Rukh returned as the host for the TED Talks. This year, we got to see SRK with his queen Gauri more than ever. They attended many events together and also featured in one of our videos. In 2018, he will be doing something completely different. SRK will be seen playing the role of a dwarf in Zero and it’s one of the reasons that that star was trending. 

Shahid Kapoor

He nailed the character of Maharaja Rawal Ratan Singh in Padmaavat. He was trending on our website for his performance in the film. Shahid and Mira had taken to their social media accounts to announce that they are expecting their second child. The couple posted a picture of their daughter Misha with "Big Sister" written in the backdrop. Then, he made headlines when Mira Rajput and he welcomed their baby son, Zain Kapoor into the world. 

Varun Dhawan

This year, Varun Dhawan gave amazing performances with content-driven movies like October and Sui Dhaaga: Made in India. He also made his relationship official with girlfriend Natasha Dalal.

His another superhit this year was Gold where he played a Hockey coach.
