No iffa for The Brand Ambassador [Senior Bachchan] in 10 yrs -- Your thoughts?!
They stay if you cant stand the heat stay out the kitchen and the quote fits perfectly with Amitabh Bachchan when it comes to this issue at hand. As we all know Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador for iifa since the awards started 10 years ago and havent missed an award show in 10 years except this one which is about to take place in Sri Lanka. Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi have been sited as the main reasons for Bachchans giving it a miss. While Aish's PR sites Promotions for Raavan being the reason she is giving it a miss Abhisheks site that and the fact that he is also shooting for a movie. For the past few yrs the iifa events are usually sited by ppl as 'The bachcan awards' Abhishek even tweeted to somebody saying IIFA IS NOT MY AWARDS! And I think those r valid reasons for the junior bachchan clan even if its a coverup to the fact that her exes are showing -- However what I think is very unprofessional is the fact that Amitabh decides not to go. I mean ofcourse at the end of the day its everyones personal decision but as a brand ambassador you SHOULD be fair to all parties and after all he has sited many times before giving credit to all actors within the industry where its deserved -- both salman and vivek respectively. He will be in london with his wife and daughter and grandkids (As reported by his twitter)

Salman said - He should have been there, he will be missed , he is a brand ambassador so he should have defi been here but in the end its their decision (More politically correct)
Vivek Said- Its a celebration of big names and our industry all togethr so if a few people dont come it will still be a good time and wouldnt make much of a difference
When Salman was first announced for his habitat for humanity association earlier last month amitabh didnt show up and it caused a buzz and I said people just want to make news -- Amitabh doesnt have to attend every event just cuz its iifa related but this one came out of no where . I feel as if professional and personal reasons should be on two seperate spectrums but these decisions only brings more lights to an event rather than acting like its all cool .... Anyways thats what I think.
