My Favourite Films of 2008
A movie that I've literally seen about 10 times! JA is one of those movies that I just couldn't seem to get enough of. Absolutely mindblowing chemistry between Hrithik & Ash as well as powerhouse performances by the two & remarkable music by AR, is why it is included in my list.
Well, I was expecting this one to be a Super-Hit so I wasn't suprised. Being an ardent fan of Akki & Kat's movies & their pairing, I just had to see this one & was not disappointed at any one moment. From the music to the performances to the dialogues, I loved every single minute of this movie!
This has got to be the cutest movie I've seen for a long time! Another thing I liked about JTYJN was that it had all the right elements of romance, friendship, action & comedy & remained very new & fresh, even though the story has been repeated numerous times. The whole cast deserved a round of applause, not to mention Imran.(yup he's definitely getting Best Newcomer!)Him & Genelia made a rocking couple, hope to see more films of theirs in the future :>
To be honest, I thought I wouldn't really like this one but to my surprise I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I haven't laughed so much before in a theatre I think than I did when I went to see this. Abhi should definitely get the Best Comic Role award, as he was absolutely hilarious in the Venice and Beedi Jalaile scenes. The music was FAB! my favourites being Desi Girl & Khabar Nahi.
Not really sure why I actually liked this one Lol, maybe because I loved Shahid's acting in it. It wasn't one of his usual type of roles but a very sincere & mature one, which kept me interested throughout the movie. I thought Vidya & Shahid's pairing wasn't too bad in some scenes either. Nevertheless, a light-hearted romantic comedy I enjoyed.
I watched this one quite recently, after reading all the reviews & was very much surprised(pleasantly) at the final result. Since I'm not much of a fan of the cast & music I thought it would be a Dud therefore wasn't very keen on watching it. However after hearing about all the fantastic reviews it got, I decided to take a risk & finally go watch it. It was absolutely great! again since I'm a big fan of the whole friendship related movies, I was able to relate to it. Farhan not only proved his direction talent but also his acting & singing talents. Won't be surprised if he takes away an award for this.
