Kismet Love Paisa Dilli: Has 'Don’t Fuff My Mind' crossed the line?
Delhi Belly may not have set the box office on fire but its DK Bose song sure has become a trendsetter. It has been followed by songs like Dil Garden Garden Ho Gaya and I Want Fakth You. Now Vivek Oberoi and Mallika Sherawat's upcoming release Kismet Love Paisa Dilli has a song with the punch line running Don’t Fuff My Mind. The song is picturised on Vivek and he has even lent his voice to the song humming a few lines.
Speaking to , producer Amit Chandrra insists that 'Fuff' is a word commonly used by youth and even went to the extent of saying "It is just a catch phrase, that's all."
The song has not been cleared by the Censor Board and will probably run into trouble but insiders say that the producer and director intend to use the same argument that Amir Khan used to ensure DK Bose escaped unscathed.
Ironically, Director Sanjay Khanduri was emphatic that the film did not have anything crude or vulgar like Delhi Belly or Kya Super Kool Hai Hum… which only makes the choice of wordings even more suspicious. Will the song catch the imagination of the youth? Or will this backfire as a cheap trick? The film is scheduled to be released on October 5th.
