Khans My Family; Have Made Up With Priyanka Says Karan Johar
Speaking about his relationship with SRK and Gauri Khan, Karan Johar described them as his brother and best friend respectively, and described his connection with the Khans as a deep and intimate one. He said, "To me, they are my only family, apart from my family; and of course, other than the Chopras (Yash Chopra and family) and the Bachchans."
When quizzed him about his fight with Priyanka Chopra and the subsequent patch up, Karan Johar said he just called PC and asked her to let bygones be bygones. He said he learned from his father's ability to forgive, forget, and move on. He said his father, Yash Johar, never had a single dispute with anybody in the film industry in his 50-year career and that this helped him understand his own immaturity.
He admitted that he had become too old to have problems with people and that he has learned that there are two sides to every story. The PC-KJ patch up took place with KJ invited PC to his 40th birthday party to mend the fences. As of now, the status quo between the two, in the words of Karan Johar, "is great."
