Kareena's spokesperson confirms her presence in Udta Punjab
Kareena Kapoor Khan has some great news for her fans. The actress, who recently returned from Gstaad with her husband Saif, has been confirmed for Abhishek Chaubey's 'Udta Punjab'.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to play one of the four main protagonists in Chaubey's film based on drug usage in Punjab. The film, produced by Anurag Kashyap, also stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The remaining protagonist is yet to be cast. Kareena Kapoor's spokesperson confirms that Bebo is ''looking forward to doing the film, but doesn’t understand why her name is being dragged into this issue(of Ayushmann Khuranna's exit''). Ayushmann Khuranna himself recently confirmed that he left the project due to date issues.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is expected to join Salman Khan soon for the Rajasthan and Kashmir schedules of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' before commencing 'Udta Punjab'. She has also recently been confirmed for Raj Kumar Gupta's heroine orinentated thriller and is in talks for Anthony D'souza's Azharrudin Biopic.
