She has been in the industry for 13 whole years and still at the top of her game wherein today's time an actresses shelf life is very short. Ever since Kareena faced the limelight her attitude was "I am the Best" and "I know I will rule this industry for at least 10 years". Highest earning actress of Bollywood this year above many male actors. No.1 actress since 2007 after Jab We met (7 years on top). Bollywood Royalty: Younger sister of Karisma; Grandaughter of Raj Kapoor. Married to Saif Ali Khan as a power couple. Now the Begum of Pautaudi. Favorite of one of Bollywood's most happening director; Karan Johar. Has worked with almost every top actor and filmmaker. Has a song dedicated to her; "Bebo Mein Bebo". Endorses dozens of top brands. Media favorite. And on top of that, she can act. She has acted in all sorts of genres and has a career graph and filmography that new actresses hope to achieve.
Say what you may of her smooth ride into filmdom because of sister Karisma's career and lineage. Sure she had a rough patch for a few year after K3G till JWM. However, at the end of the day Kareena has been around for the longest time. A film like Heroine may have flopped but it did have an almost 8cr opening and what actress would not like to play a Bollywood Superstar Heroine? I see no body better of the current lot fit to play that role irrespective of its fate.
Kareena has basically done it all that if she quit Bollywood today she has still achieved enough to be fulfilled with her career and has assured a Lifetime Achievement Award and Padma Shree in the next 20 years. However, there seems to be no stopping her. She is almost the female Salman Khan where hits and flops don't effect her Persona as Kareena Kapoor any more. At this point unless she does something pathbreaking it won't be "Good Enough" for who she has become. And this is one actress that seems the audience does not mind having around for a long time.
Love or Hate Her, you just can not ignore her even if you try.
