Kareena talks about Saif's big proposal
The most awaited wedding finally has a date. Yes, October 16, 2012 is D-day for Saifeena! The dashing Saif Ali Khan and sizzling Kareena Kapoor are set to take their five-year long live-in relationship to the next level. The national buzz surrounding the impending nuptials of this hot-shot couple will finally be laid to rest. In an interview for Hello! India’s latest issue, when asked about how Saif proclaimed his love for her, Kareena said that Saif never really said it. So, did they just decide to live together on the spur of the moment before he even declared his feelings for her, she clarified saying that it wasn’t like that. They had been dating for a couple of months when he said that he can’t be dropping her home every night. So, the dashing prince that Saif is; he went to meet Kareena’s mother and told her that she’s his woman, that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her and that they wanted to live together. That was that! Of course, when Saif etched his love’s name permanently on his arm, their commitment to each other was palpable.
Reminiscing, Kareena said that she met Saif whilst shooting Tashan in Ladakh, a little after she had broken up with Shahid Kapoor. She added that he was tanning on a lounge chair, clad in just jeans and she exclaimed to her friend about how hot he was. Right after their first shot, they started chatting and she said he made her laugh a lot. The things she doesn’t like about him are that he takes longer than her to get ready and he sleeps too much! And her constantly being on bbm annoys Saif. Saif is the cordon bleu while Kareena is the wine-sipper! Their plan after the small signing ceremony is to get into their jeans and ganjis and chill out.
