Kareena signs Aanand L. Rai's women centric comedy?
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is currently shooting for Kabir Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' in Delhi with Salman Khan, has greenlighted her next project.
According to Hindustan Times, Kareena has signed on for Aanand L Rai's next project. The film is said to be a 'woman orientated light hearted comedy' and Bebo is the 'hero' in the film. Aanand Rai who has declared openly his love for Kareenta, previously said that writes all of his female protagonist roles with her in mind. The duo were meant to work with each other in 'Tanu Weds Manu' and 'Raanjhanaa', but neither project worked out.
Aanand had revealed to a tabloid that his next is a 'desi rom com set in a certain period'. The project is set in Lucknow, and will kick of in January 2015.
Kareena Kapoor wil be seen playing a Brahmin girl in 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and also has a cameo in husband Saif Ali Khan's 'Happy Ending', not forgetting an item number in 'Gabbar'. Sohail Khan is also said to be scripting a project that is meant to star her and Salman Khan. She is also said to be in talks with Prakash Jha for 'Gangajaal 2', a film based on the life of a female cop.
