Is Kareena Kapoor losing her number 1 spot?
It seems like Kareena Kapoor is ''walking out'' of many big banner projects. Is this because producers feel that Kareena won't be commited since she will get married in october? Or is India still extremely backwards and believe that married actresses can't give hits?
Industry insiders might feel that Kareena is unsteady when it comes to her professional work. First it was said that Kareena was on board of Chennai Express opposite Shah Rukh Khan. However, Deepika Padukone has replaced her now.
Kareena also walked out of Ekta Kapoor's Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2 and Sonakshi Sinha has replaced her now. This is after Ekta's huge success 'The Dirty Picture'
Talks about Kareena Kapoor doing Rajneeti 2 were also going round. Ranbir Kapoor has walked out and it would be prefectly fine for Kareena now to enter. However, it seems like the producers will stick to their original heroine, Katrina kaif. Katrina is even getting a central role this time!
And now Kareena Kapoor herself has told the media that she walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela opposite Ranveer Singh. She is appareantly replacen by none other than Priyanka Chopra.
Is Kareena making the right choices when it comes to her career? It's already hard enough for a married actress in India to attract producers, so why is Kareena refusing all these huge offers?
As we all now, Kareena Kapoor has always been extremely competitive and losing films to other possible threats like Priyanka, Katrina, Deepika and Sonakshi is not something she is known for.
Could it be that Kareena is planning to stop acting? Maybe not forever, but for a certain amount of time?
It seems that Kareena Kapoor has no other films in hand other than the Aamir khan and Rani Mukherji starrer Talaas and Heroine at the moment.
