Karan Johar talks about the misunderstandings with Priyanka Chopra
In an interview to Mumbai Mirror Karan Johar talks about Priyanka Chopra and how he was fuming during that time.
The story goes that Priyanka's unnamed friends strongly defending her in the allegations of a rumoured affair with Shah Rukh Khan and hinting that Karan Johar had been bitching about her.
Fuming at these allegations, Karan had tweeted, "Using their hired PR machinery and hiding behind so called "friends" to get news into tabloids is nothing but spineless and lame!!" He added: "Some people need to wake up and smell the KOFFEE!!! Get a reality check before it's too late!!! Grow up!!! and don't mess with goodness."

However, Karan repents for this outburst now. He says, "I picked up the phone and reacted like a pressure cooker. Then I realised it wasn't worth it. I called her and said I was turning 40. I have a great EQ (emotional quotient) with her. I've shared several warm moments with PeeCee. Since I am the older one, I decided to be mature." Perhaps that's why he did not mind seeing pictures of the actress at Salman Khan's house either. "I am only interested in what is written about me."
