Ittefaq: 5 interesting facts about Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha's film

After a very long time, we will be seeing a suspense thriller movie in Bollywood and that is Abhay Chopra's directorial debut Ittefaq. The movie stars Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna in the lead and it is set to hit the screens on November 3, 2017. The movie is jointly produced by BR Films, Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment.

Ittefaq is in the duration of just one hour and 50 minutes which is rare to see in any Bollywood movie. The film is a suspense thriller and the suspense builds up within the first few minutes of the film. We have to wait to see if the movie has an interval or not.

Adaptation of the 1969 thriller

Ittefaq is the official remake of Yash Chopra directorial which was released in the year 1969. The original film starred Rajesh Khanna and Nanda in the lead and it went on to be loved by many, even today.

No Songs

The 2017 release has no songs similar to the original film. But, they shot for a promotional music video which was a recreated version of the retro hit Raat Baaki by Asha Bhosle.

Sidharth, Sonakshi and Akshaye are working for the first time together in this thriller. Though, Sidharth and Sonakshi are not romantically paired opposite each other.

No promotions:

This is the first time we have seen a film which was not promoted at all. All the promotions were done digitally and there weren't any media interactions until now.
