Inspired or Remake??
One cannot really ignore the uncanny similarities between MNIK and BB.
1. While protaginist of MNIK was an autistic person therefore dint understand wordly ways of manilpulation and lying.On the other hand Pawan of BB was a bhajrangi devotee therefore dint lie and took a straight way.
2. Main story plays around a kid in both movies where protaginist and kid belons to completely different religions yet shared a deep and emotional bond.
3. Heroines of both the movies were wooed by their lovers due to qulities as mentioned in point 1.
4. Both the protagnists went out of their way for the for finding the destination for kids with whom they dint have any blood relationship.
5. Last but not the least, way of poularising the story of both the protagnists where in MNIK supporter of hero was able to convince a TV channel though unsuccessful for same, supporter of BB chose youtube for doing the same.
Where MNIK had a modern approach had larger than life platform while sharing multiple twists and turns highlighting the unacceptable treatment with people belonging to certain religion , BB was basically based on relationships of two countries and there treatment with each other.
No doubt audience was charmed by performances of both the KHANs in their respective films. Owing to their newly found respect for each other, we are not trying to start any fan war, just sharing obvious similarities:P
