On realising they have to marry, actors start looking up business tycoons: Kareena
Kareena Kapoor Khan in an interview to Femina, talks about marriage and how she chose to go for it, keeping in mind the risks involved to her career.
In the interview she says, "Most of an actors youth is spent battling for the crown, then when she gets the crown, someone else takes it... thats the circle of life. Everyone told me 'Don't Get married, its taboo in Bollywood. But i've never gone by the rules. If somoene feels they don't want to work with me because i am married, I am fine with it. I am not going to give up my life. Most actors tend to make work their life. Then one day they realize, 'oh I have to find a man to marry' and start looking up all the business tycoons in India. One should marry for love and at the right time.
As for her career taking the back-seat, she admits she has discovered there is far more to life and quips, "I have achieved what I have wanted. I am ambitious and passionate. But now I want to enjoy it. Most of us (actors) are constantly thinking about how to bag this movie, get that role... I am so over that."
