I was offered "Dil Toh Pagal Hai": Manisha Koirala
Manisha Koirala the actress who ruled the box office in the past has been out from the film industry for quite a long time now. Due to her marriage and than recent hardships in her personal life. But putting all this asides she still wants to focus on her Bollywood journey. In an interview to Mid-Day.com Manisha talks about her upcoming film Bhoot Returns with RGV, life and the future. One interesting answer from this interview is where she confesses that "Dil To Pagal Hai" was first offered to her and she regrets for not doing it.
Question: With over two decades in Bollywood, do you harbour regrets?
Manisha: It's important to make your own mistakes rather than follow others' instructions, especially in this industry. In terms of my acting career, I do have regrets. There were plenty of films that I should have done but I didn't. For instance, Dil Toh Pagal Hai was offered to me besides other such good films with good directors. Out of my sheer stupidity, I chose not to be a part of them.
So what do you people think? Could she had played the part of "Pooja" better than Madhuri Dixit in "Dil To Pagal Hai"?
