Happy Birthday Misha Kapoor: Tracing the 1st year of Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput's darling daughter

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput's adorable daughter Misha Kapoor was welcomed into the world on August 26, 2016, and since then, for the married couple, it has been all about Misha. 

As the tiny tot celebrates her first birthday today, let's look back at the year of Shahid's adorable munchkin:

August 2016: Misha Kapoor is born and brought home

At a suburban hospital in the city, Mira delivered a baby girl and an elated Shahid shared the good news on Twitter stating, "She has arrived and words fall short to express our happiness. Thank you for all your wishes."

September 2016: Shahid reveals daughter's name

Almost a month later, while we did not get the first look of Shahid's daughter; the actor took to Twitter to share her name. He tweeted, "Misha Kapoor makes it impossible for daddy to go anywhere.#obsesseddaddylife."

October 2016 - December 2016 - Airport Diaries

Draped in a blanket and held protectively by her father, Misha was snapped at the airport by the paparazzi for the first time since coming home. 

Since then, Misha had been spotted at the airport on several occasions with her parents. 

January 2017: Shahid Kapoor gives a tiny glimpse of Misha

In January 2017, Shahid teased fans with a photo of Misha's feet on Instagram. His caption simply read as, "Mi-shoe."

February 2017: Introduction of Misha Kapoor to the world

While we were yearning to see a picture of Misha, Shahid shared a hazy photo in which you can see the outline of baby Misha while Shahid is holding her in his arms. His caption read as, "Sunsets with my angel."

But on February 8, Shahid shocked his fans and finally shared the first look of his daughter on Instagram. In the photo, mom Mira is seen giving Misha a peck on her cheeks while the little munchkin is looking adorably into the camera. Shahid's caption reads as, "Hello world."

March 2017: Shahid shares another photo of Misha

"Moo Moo here and a Moo Moo there," is what Shahid's caption reads on Instagram, as a wide eyed Misha stares directly at the camera. Dressed in a grey sweater that has the word 'Milk' inscribed and blue pants along with a monochrome bow hairband, we fell in love with Shahid's daughter. 

April 2017: Misha enjoys pool time, dancing and a lunch date with her family

April saw two adorable posts by Shahid with Misha. In one, the father-daughter duo are seen enjoying pool time as Shahid captioned it saying, "Pool time with missy. #besttimes."

 

On the other hand, Shahid also shared a video on International Dance Day in which the actor is seen adorably dancing to Michael Jackson's tunes with baby Misha. His caption reads as, "#worlddanceday #havefeetwilldance #mj dance is in your blood."

Towards the end of April, baby Misha was captured by the photogs with her parents as the trio went for a lunch date.

May 2017: Shahid shares a photo of Mira and Misha to commemorate Mother's Day

Shahid took to Instagram to wish Mira on Mother's Day by posting a candid photo of Mira holding baby Misha. His caption reads as, "Happy Mother's Day all. @mira.kapoor you make me so proud. Misha is lucky to have you."

Shahid also went back to sharing a picture of Misha's feet which was surrounded by baby stars. His caption read as, "Stars at her feet. #causeyouareaskyfullofstars."

We also got an adorable photo of Shahid welcoming baby Misha home in his arms as the toddler stared at the shutterbugs.

June 2017: Misha learns to clap, starts to look like dad Shahid, drops him off at the gym and steals the spotlight

In June, Shahid shared a super cute video on Instagram with Misha as she was seen clapping and the actor beamed at his daughter proudly. As a proud father, doting dad Shahid's caption read as, "And she learns how to clap."

Misha was also snapped by the paparazzi on various occasions with mom Mira and we couldn't help but feel how Misha was starting to look a lot like Shahid.

Shahid who is a regular at the gym found a companion in baby Misha who accompanied her dad to the gym.

At celebrity hairdresser Aalim Hakim's son's birthday party, Misha was seen stealing the spotlight as she looked cute as a button in a pink frock, white booties and a white bowclip.

July 2017: Misha Kapoor heads to IIFA 2017 with Shahid and Mira, has a sugar rush, returns home to be greeted by her dad and takes baby steps

Misha Kapoor went on her first trip abroad with her parent in July. Shahid took his family to New York for IIFA 2017.

While in New York, Shahid shared a cute Boomerang video on Instagram of himself with Misha as they dealt with their sugar rush. His caption read as, "Breakfast sugar rush."

While Shahid came back earlier from the trip, Mira and Misha were greeted by the actor at the Mumbai airport. It is Shahid's pure and delighted expression on his face as he reunited with Misha that will make you gleam with joy.

We also got to witness Misha take baby steps as she was snapped with her mom Mira outside their house.

August 2017: Shahid, Mira and Misha head to London to celebrate Misha's 1st birthday. 

Towards mid-August, Shahid took Mira and Misha for a trip to London where they will be celebrating Misha's birthday. The trio was spotted at the airport by the shutterbugs.

Shahid took to Instagram to share a too-cute-to-handle photo with Misha from their playtime in London. In the photo, Misha is seen holding a football and staring at the lens while Shahid holds his daughter lovingly and smiling brightly at his adorable daughter. His caption reads as, "#playtime with lil missy."

Shahid also shared another cute snap where you can see Misha having a talk with Shahid and looking curiously at him as he looks at her with a surprised and elated expression.

Shahid also shared another photo, this time with both Mira and Misha as the adorable family posed for a cozy selfie. His caption reads as, "Best times."

Just a day before Misha's birthday, Shahid shared a picture cuddling up to Misha with a caption that read as, "Just about one."
