Happy Birthday Karan Johar!
A very happy birthday to director, producer, screenwriter and TV host Karan Johar who turns 42 today! Son of Yash and Hiroo Johar, Karan now heads Dharma Productions. He entered the film industry as an actor in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and then realized that he is better off behind the camera. He made his debut as a director with Kuch Kuch Hota Hain at the age of 25. KJo then gave a string of hits. From Kuch Kuch Hota Hain to My Name is Khan, all proved to be blockbusters.
With Koffee with Karan running successfully for five years, one can say that Karan is also one of the most popular TV show hosts. He seems to know how to perfectly get gossip out of our favourite stars. Karan will be showcasing his acting skills once again this year with Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet. We wonder how his second stint at acting will fare!
