Happy Birthday Brad Pitt: Here are 5 movies of the handsome actor that can be your binge-watch playlist
Everyone's 'Universal Crush' since forever, Brad Pitt, celebrates his 55th birthday today, i.e. December 18, and we give you a binge-watch playlist of five movies to celebrate the occasion.
You may not have the best knowledge when it comes to Hollywood, but anyone and everyone (even those living under a rock) know who Brad Pitt is! The universally accepted 'Sexiest Man Alive' has been ruling the hearts of millions with his gorgeous looks, bad boy personality, hard rock lifestyle, and fine performances - some of which even deserved an acting Oscar. The actor began his career in 1987 but it was as J.D., a cowboy hitchhiker, in Thelma & Louise (1991) where Pitt first gained recognition.
Brad Pitt was always a character actor, who molded himself and became one with some of greatest onscreen personalities who had twisted minds that left us intrigued. The greatest example could be Tyler Durden from Fight Club (1999) or even Benjamin Button from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008). Time and again, the actor has proved with fervour that he is not just a pretty face but also, a force to be reckoned with while on the big screen.
As Brad celebrates his 55th birthday today, we have curated a binge-watch playlist of five movies to celebrate the occasion:
1. Fight Club (1999)
Fight Club is a film that will leave a cinematic scar in you which will last forever and Tyler Durden will haunt your dreams in what will be nothing but twisted pleasure. Brad went over and above to give us a character that will be remembered for generations and really, that gobsmacking climax is just cherry on top of the cake.
2. Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005)
If you are just as bummed as us over the heartbreaking Brangelina split, here's a kickass action comedy about a couple, who are assassins, but neither know the truth about the other. That oh-so-hot palpable chemistry and sexual tension between Brangelina makes this a must watch.
3. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)
In what should arguably have won Brad an Oscar for Best Actor, Pitt earnestly portrays the troubled Benjamin Button, who ages backward in this heartfelt drama.
4. Interview With The Vampire (1994)
An unusual choice; but when you have an exceptionally young Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise in the same movie as vampires, you watch it!
5. Seven (1995)
Funnily enough, three out of five movies in this playlist are directed by the mighty David Fincher; an actor-director combination made in a candy-sized hell of epic proportions! This crime thriller is a story of David Mills (Brad Pitt) and William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) who try to find the serial killer, whose specialty is using the seven deadly sins as a motif to commit murders.
