Here's an interesting bit of trivia - at the trailer launch of 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' - Karan Johar revealed that the film is actually based on director Punit Malhotra's love story.
Karan says 'Punit lost a girl in relationship previously, and travelled to many parts of the country in order to find her and win her back, he did lose her eventually and she is now married, but his journey forms the basis of the film'.
To which Kareena Kapoor jokingly asked 'Is this girl a heroine' ;)
Well this certainly makes us anticipate GTPM more!
