Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have set high standards for a marriage that can sustain all the loopholes that come with the success in the Bollywood industry. It’s been close to three decades since Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan tied the knot. And till now, they are one of the most famous couples of B-Town. The couple has achieved many milestones together. Now, SRK is the Badhshah of Bollywood but not back then he walked the aisle with wife Gauri.
SRK married Gauri when he was struggling to make a name for himself in this world of glamour. Taking you all back to 1991, when SRK decided to move to Mumbai and was trying to cope with the loss of his mother, Gauri made sure that she sticks to him in the toughest phase of his wife. Well, she did want to go back to Delhi but somewhere she respected the passion that SRK had to make a big name for himself. In an interview, Gauri had said, "It was only after I met Shah Rukh that I learnt to enjoy his passion for cinema." Six years after their wedding, the Khans welcomed their first son, Aryan, on November 13. And now, they are parents to three children - Suhana was born on May 22, 2000, while their youngest, AbRam Khan came via surrogacy on May 27, 2013.
"My life is with Shah Rukh and the kids," Gauri Khan once revealed to Vogue. Well, that's true and she has made sure that she becomes a hands-on-mother and a perfect wife to SRK. It has been a roller-coaster ride for both SRK and Gauri but they have learnt to manage it well over the course of time.
Being a wife of the superstar hasn't been easy for Gauri. Despite the tag of star wife, Gauri has made a space for herself. These days, Gauri Khan is busy with interior designing projects and her new store, Gauri Khan Designs. SRK makes sure that he celebrates the success of his wife's achievements.
Both are indeed a power couple. Gauri also makes it a point to be with SRK for every award function or any public appearance for that matter. From being friends to lovers, they had overcome many hurdles that every couple comes across in their life. SRK couldn’t have done that without Gauri’s support and he has mentioned in that many interviews.
