FRIDAY RELEASES: Saif Ali Khan's Baazaar and Sharman Joshi's Kaashi to clash at the box office

Saif Ali Khan and Sharman Joshi will be clashing at the box office on October 28, 2018 with their movies, Baazaar and Kaashi releasing on the same day. Here's all you need to know about both the movies.

Friday releases and clashes have almost become synonymous in the past few years. Last week, we saw Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra starrer Badhaai Ho clashing with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's movie Namaste England, with the former beating the latter, in terms of box office numbers. While Badhaai Ho is soon inching towards a Rs 50 crore mark, Namaste England has suffered drastically, in spite of the fact that it released during Dussehra, a national holiday. Now, let's take a look at the Friday releases of this week, i.e. October 28, 2018.

First up, we have Saif Ali Khan starrer Baazaar, which is being directed by Gauravv K. Chawla and is written by Kal Ho Naa Ho director Nikkhil Advani, Aseem Arora and Parveez Sheikh. Baazaar marks the Bollywood debut of Vinod Mehra's son, Rohan Mehra and also stars Chitrangada Singh and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles.

In the film, Saif plays Gujarati businessman Shakun Kothari while Rohan plays Rizwan Ahmed, his protege with big dreams. This business crime drama about the stock market is sure to instil a sense of excitement in the hearts of the audience.

On the other hand, Sharman Joshi's movie Kaashi: In Search of Ganga stars an eclectic cast featuring Govind Namdev, Akhilendra Mishra, Paritosh Tripathi, Manoj Joshi and Manoj Pahwa. The film is directed by Dhiraj Kumar and is a Bollywood suspense thriller.

The storyline is about Kaashi (Sharman Joshi) and his sister Ganga, who goes missing. In his search for his sister, he is troubled with a major obstacle as people refuse to believe that his sister actually exists in real life.
