Instead, he plays the Paa that Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda adore and look up to. His motto in life is simple - 'Work hard and play harder'. From moving in with the times to being a modern day father, Amitabh Bachchan has aced it all. 

Anil Kapoor

His kids always complain about the way he looks at himself in the mirror. But clearly the youngest in the Kapoor khandaan, when it comes to his infectious energy and charm, Anil Kapoor is a 'jhakaas' dad. Whether it's standing by his daughters Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor on several issues, or supporting his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Anil is possibly one of the best fathers we have. His ability to gel with everyone, also helps him become a friendly father-in-law to Anand Ahuja, who he now comfortably calls a friend. 

Jackie Shroff

There can't be anyone cooler than this man. Period. While Tiger is more shy and reticent in front of the general public, people who know him well also know that he has a side to him which is exactly like his dad. Unapologetic and unabashed, Papa Shroff has no air about himself and has carefully passed on that groundedness to his star son and daughter Krishna Shroff. 

Shah Rukh Khan

SRK always admits that he's a better father than a husband. One look at the way he's with his children and you would also say the same. He's best buddies with his older son Aryan Khan who he shares 'boy jokes' with. He's overtly protective and emotionally attached to his daughter Suhana who is one of his biggest strengths. And little AbRam is the light of his eyes. None of his fan meetings are complete without the tiny tot and we totally love it! There's never a dull moment when the four of them are together. From gaming to giving them life lessons, SRK is parenting goals for life!

Hrithik Roshan

Another actor who's definitely one of the best fathers we have, has to be Hrithik Roshan. While he's otherwise busy with his work commitment, he makes it a point to spend quality time with his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan - taking them out on holidays, teaching them how to deal  with situations, et al. He has carefully been part of all his kids' milestones and experiences and the trio always bring a smile on your face! 

Saif Ali Khan

I'm sure you have watched the Koffee With Karan episode, featuring both Saif Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan. It was undoubtedly one of the best episodes across seasons. The camaraderie between the father and the adaughter was unlike any other child-parent pair. They share a warm vibe and it is palpable. But again, like Sara has often admitted, Saif can also be a strict father when he needs to. But more often than not, he's friends with his kids, including baby Taimur Ali Khan. The way he makes sure he gives a lot of attention to Taimur and his growing up times, will melt your heart. How much we love those pictures of Taimur piggybacking on daddy Saif's shoulders! Abhishek Bachchan

He's protective but at the same time, an extremely doting father. Maybe, he's imbibed it from his own Paa, but Ab Junior is not only one of the coolest dads we have, he's one of the most fantastic people that's there in Bollywood. While he hates Aaradhya being papped too much and makes it often, you would never see him missing any of hid daughter's special moments. Now, what else would make for a good father?
