Elizabeth Olsen Birthday Special: 10 facts you probably didn't know about the Avengers: Endgame star

Elizabeth Chase Olsen who is one of the famous American actresses has turned a year older today. She rose to fame in the year 2011 when she starred in thriller drama Martha Marcy May Marlene. She later went on and starred in many hit films such as Silent House (2011), Liberal Arts (2012), Godzilla (2014), Ingrid Goes West (2017) and Wind River (2017) among others. 

Olsen who is the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen earned global recognition when she played the role of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the end credit scene. Later, she was seen in big-ticket movies such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War. She will be seen in most awaited movie of 2019 Avengers: Endgame as well. 6. Lizzie is known for her role as Scarlet Witch in Avengers series. In an interview with Elle, she revealed that her brother Trevor helped her to prep up for the role in Avengers 2 as he is a comic-book lover. 

7 Her dream roles include Masha in Chekhov's Three Sisters and Mary Tyrone in Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night.

8 She used a different last name in high school to stay under the radar and to not get unwanted attention. She used her middle name Chase as the last name. 

9 She studied drama in Russia. Yes, to hone her acting skills she went to Russia and later returned to the States.
