Deepika Signed For Shuddhi!
Deepika Padukone is finalised for Karan Malhotra's and Karan Johar's Productuon 'Shuddhi'. After lots of media coverage and speculation the makers have finally zeroed on the Ram-Leela star. After she finishes shooting for Farah Khan's Happy New Year, she will start Window Seat opposite ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor followed by Shoojit Sircar's 'Piku'. After this she will start shooting Shuddhi, the period reincarnation love story that is expected to go on the floor end of the year.
Interestingly, talks about Deepika playing Mastani in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next continuous, as two new faces Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra have been added recently to the cast. Kareena Kapoor has made it clear she expects to be cast.
If Bajiroa Mastani doesn't work out we wonder if we will see Deepika and Hrithik in Shuddhi, but after Hrithik's decision to leave the project for personal reasons chances are big Ranveer Singh will be cast as the main lead.
