Deepika Signed For Shuddhi!
After Happy New Year we will see Deepika Padukone in Imtiaz Ali's next movie Window Seat with Ranbir Kapoor. Reports also suggest she has signed Karan Johar's Shuddhi, which was claimed to be permanently shelved, which doesn’t have a hero after Hrithik Roshan’s exit (Ranveer Singh is most likely to be roped in).
Reporst also suggest there is a very good chande Hrithik Roshan will be seen as Bajiroa on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next. Although it's very likely that Deepika and Priyanka will play the female leads, Kareena Kapoor is still not out of the picture and has shown keen interest in the project.
She was also sporting enough to admit that she wishes she’d been offered Zoya Akhtar’s next Dil Dhadakne Do. According to Deepika it has a ''crazy, terrific script''. DDD is a dark comedy about a dysfunctional Punjabi family. She also said, “I haven’t even discussed this with Zoya yet, but if I can get a few months off around that time, I’d go and work as an assistant director on that set,” Deepika reveals. Interestingly, this movie was initially offered to Kareena Kapoor, but she turned it down for reason known to herself.
