Preity Zinta marked her debut in Bollywood with this 1998 released film, Dil Se. She got a dream chance to star opposite Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Despite having only 20 minutes of screen time, she made an impact with her strong character. She went on to win the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her performance in the film.
2. Sangharsh (1999):

The movie based on the American film, Silence of The Lambs (1991), saw Preity playing the character of Reet Oberoi, a CBI officer who falls in love with a prisoner (Akshay Kumar). Preity’s charm and energy level were hugely lauded by the audience.
3. Kya Kehna (2000):

Based on single parenting and teenage pregnancy, Kya Kehna is one of Preity Zinta’s best performances till date. She played the role of Priya Bakshi, a teenage single mother, who was determined to give birth to her love child even after getting abandoned by her boyfriend. A strong character, Preity pulled it off with aplomb.
4. Dil Chahta Hai (2001):

The film garnered a cult status and was lauded for its portrayal of Indian youth and urban lifestyle. The film is based on an unfortunate love story of an Indian Air Force pilot and a Pakistani girl, who were separated for 22 years. 8. Salaam Namaste (2005):
