Big South films to release this week: Rajinikanth’s Petta to NTR Kathanayakudu, Vinaya Vidheya Rama and others

The first week of 2019 is going to be an interesting one for the movie buffs. Not one but more than three South Indian films are releasing in the coming days at the Box Office. One of the biggest Box Office clashes is going to be on January 10. Yes, Rajinikanth starrer Petta and Thala Ajith's Viswasam will witness Box Office battle this Friday.  In Telugu, NTR Kathanayakudu, which is a biopic on legendary actor N.T. Rama Rao is a film that everyone is looking forward to. As we head for a new week, let's take a look at the big South Indian films releasing this week.

Vinaya Vidheya Rama:

Vinaya Vidheya Rama starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani is one of the most talked about the films of the month. The makers of the film have promoted the film in the best possible way and this has only helped to increase the recall value of the film. Boyapati Sreenu and Ram Charan have collaborated for the first time which is one of the highlights of the film. The film is hitting the screens on January 11. 

NTR Kathanayakudu:

A biopic on the legendary actor N.T. Rama Rao has been talking of the town since its inception. Finally, after a long wait, the film titled as NTR Kathanayakudu is releasing on January 10. The much awaited biopics of the year also stars Vidya Balan, Rana Daggubati and many others in key roles.

Viswasam:

Thala Ajith's Viswasam which is directed by Siva will witness a huge clash at the Box Office with Rajinikanth's Petta. The film will see Ajith in a double role. 

Petta:

After 2.0, Rajinikanth is back with another much-awaited film, Petta. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Petta also stars Trisha Krishnan, Simran, Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. 

F2: Fun & Frustration: 

Starring Venkatesh Daggubati, Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada, F2 is releasing on January 12 worldwide.
