Bad Guy In Dhoom 3 Aamir Comes To The Movie’s Rescue In Real Life Crisis
Shooting for Dhoom 3 got stalled due to administrative and legal issues in Chicago and it was up to superstar Aamir Khan to step in and meet the mayor to smoothen ruffled feathers and get permission for shooting to commence again.
Sources say that shooting got stalled for four to five days due to the fact that Curbside Films, the line producer for the movie, did not get the necessary permissions to continue shooting during the annual Chicago Air and Water show.
The entire cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif would have been left twiddling their thumbs had this issue not been sorted out amicably. A meeting with Mayor Rahm Emanuel ensured all roadblocks for shooting were removed.
Yash Raj Films clarified to HT that shooting had stalled only over the weekend and that things got sorted out quickly. There were no comments on whether Aamir’s intervention made a difference or not. The movie is set to be released in 2013.
