We read about the many records that Krrish 3 broke and that it has entered the Rs 200 crore club. However, in an interesting turn of events, reported a trade analyst as rubbishing these figures.

As per the tabloid, these figures of Krrish 3 box-office collections are 'inflated', which has upset the Khans - Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir. Apparently, there has been a mix up between 'gross' and 'net' figures while reporting the collections. Krrish 3, which claimed to break some records of Chennai Express, Ek Tha Tiget and 3 Idiots, has reported figures which included revenue from Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions. The figures from the other three films are only that of Hindi, and ony the 'net' figures.

If Krrish 3 were to be calculated in a similar fashion, the net figure would be Rs 183 crores in Hindi. DNA reported a source as saying, "The Roshans were in a hurry to announce that Krrish 3 broke all records. The fact is that Chennai Express remains the all time highest grosser and the highest opening day grosser in India."

However, reacting on this, Rakesh Roshan spoke to Bollywood Hungama. He said, "How can I fudge Rs. 40-50 crores? Is it really that simple or is it a joke to change and pump up the collections? Besides they say that the figures I have shared are gross figures. In fact if I look at the gross figures that include the entertainment tax, and everything else, then Krrish 3's collection has crossed Rs. 500 crores. I think they really need to go back and learn the difference between gross and nett figures first."
