Nepotism has surely rocked the world of Bollywood in 2K17. This week was all about the IIFA Awards, specifically the Nepotism skit by Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan. The trio was given a ton of flak and they had to apologise. Saif and then Kangana Ranaut went on to write open letters. Sara Ali Khan made a fashion statement whereas the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma's Jab Harry Met Sejal was loved by all.

Saif and Karan made fun of Kangana several times while they were hosting the IIFA Awards 2017. They kept on chanting, "Nepotism rocks... Nepotism rocks..." many times. KJo was seen screaming, "I'm here because of my father, Saif is here because of his mother, and Varun is here also because of his father. What's the big deal?" This happened when Varun Dhawan was receiving Best Actor in a Comic Role Award for Dishoom. Later on, Varun said, "Down with nepotism!" They concluded their stint by singing, "Bole Choodiyan, Bole Kangana..." and KJo reacted, "Kangana bolti hi kyun hai?"

So, should we make peace with nepotism? The ones who think it works for them can make peace with it. In my opinion, that is an extremely pessimistic attitude for a Third World country, where many people don't have access to food, shelter, clothing, and education. The world is not an ideal place, and it might never be. That is why we have the industry of arts. In a way, we are the flag-bearers of hope.

When we spoke to Kangana about the injury, she said, "I am a bit embarrassed to be thrilled to have a battle scar on my face. Also, people from my team have been telling me that it's like that Peshwa teeka that Manikarnika wore. It's a bit dramatic but I am excited that my face was covered in blood and I got a genuine and authentic glimpse of the Queen's life."

But looks like, their celebrity status is getting the better of the two newbies. In a recent outing, when Sara and Rhea went to a salon for a few services, the two were in for a surprise as both their cards were declined. When the manager came and informed the girls about the cards getting declined, the two raised a fit and started abusing the manager and the salon. A customer present at the salon asked Sara and Rhea to tone it down as there were children around but they ended up abusing again.
In the trailer, Shah Rukh Khan is seen as a tourist guide, who is lost and a loner. Shah Rukh Khan plays the character of Harry, who is a womaniser and a big time flirt. His whole life changes when Anushka Sharma (Sejal) enters it, all thanks to her engagement ring that she loses while on the trip. Her whole family leaves for India, but she stays back just to search the ring which her fiance gave it to her. Then starts the whole story of how two lost people discover life and stumble upon the things which they were searching for.
