Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan: The time these celebrities made their crazy fans feel extra special

Stardom can only be achieved if one has a large fan following. Without the crazy fans, celebs wouldn't be celebs, and sometimes, stars take the time out to simply show their appreciation. 

Celebrities are probably used to people hounding them in large numbers, being clicked by the paparazzi and even all the endless fan mail and crazy stunts that some fans do, just to get their favourite star's attention. However, there are times when certain gestures are specially noted and make a star want to simply do something in return, as a thank you from the heart. 

Today, we did a little digging, and got some overwhelming deets on how Indian celebrities have sometimes taken the time out to shower love on their fans and have made their day by surprising them. Intrigued yet? Let's find out more... 

1. Amitabh Bachchan 

A truly heartwarming story became the talk of the town, when Bernandini D'Souza, a 100 year old lady suffering from Alzheimer's, remembered nothing but Amitabh Bachchan. D'Souza was so into the actor, that she couldn't eat her food without taking a look at his picture first. Somehow, the news got to Amitabh Bachchan, and as blown away by the story as we are, an emotional Bachchan arranged for D'Souza to visit him on his birthday, while shooting for a television show. When the little old lady saw him for the first time, she squealed his name is excitement and even danced with him later. Now isn't that touching? 

2. Aamir Khan 

Another emotional celeb-fan story is that of Aamir Khan and the little Nihal Bitla. Nihal is a young boy, who suffers from a rare disorder called Progeria, which causes his body to age almost eight times faster than normal. After watching Taare Zameen Par, a sentimental Nihal took to social media to thank his favourite actor, Aamir, for making such a film, and even expressed his deep desire to meet him. Somehow, Khan got to know about this, and was quick to arrange a meeting with little Nihal. Needless to say, the teen was over the moon to meet Aamir and greeted him with a tight hug. 

3. Salman Khan

Salman Khan is known for having a huge heart and for going out of his way for anything he feels passionate about. This is the perfect example. Abdul Basit, an 11-year-old from Pakistan, developed severe jaundice soon after birth. As he grew older, his skin thickened and difficulties escalated. The young boy, who happened to be a huge fan of Salman, visited India to have a liver transplant, was accompanied by his parents, who ware very keen to fulfill their son's wish to meet the superstar. When this reached Salman's ears, of course, he did not disappoint and traveled to Delhi to pay Abdul a visit. 

4. Shah Rukh Khan 

Before the release of Shah Rukh Khan's hit film Fan, amongst all the fan mail the actor received, was one that stood out and caught SRK's eye. A creative fan made his own version of the film's trailer and when King Khan saw it, he was super pleased! He liked it so much that he decided to offer the guy a job under the VFX function of his company, Red Chillies. Now that's one lucky jabra fan! 

5. Hrithik Roshan 

Hrithik Roshan has a mad fan in Jyoti Vishwakarma, a young adult from Kolkata, who actually has a tattoo of his name on her hand and a collection of more than 10,000 photographs of the star. The lucky girl was called to Mumbai for a show and was shocked, when Hrithik came to personally meet her and spend time with her. In tears after meeting her all time favourite hero, an ecstatic Jyoti treasured her time with Hrithik, who even made coffee for her!
