Ramadan is approaching near and it is indeed the most special occasion observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting. The Muslim calendar operates on a lunar system, particularly the crescent moon. Ramadan is the name of the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. The end of the fasting month is marked with a big feast, and with the exchanging of gifts and celebrations, known as “Eid-ul-Fitr.”

Apart from fasting and waiting for the month to end, you can also spend time by watching some brilliant movies. And to make your task easier, we have listed down 10 Bollywood movies that you can watch this Ramadan and make this occasion all the more special for you.

Jodhaa Akbar:

We will start the list by discussing the Mughal era. Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama film Jodhaa Akbar was released in 2008 and is one of the classic movies which depicted how beautiful the Islam culture is. The film starred Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles and would be the perfect film to enjoy during the holy month of Ramadan.

The character of Rizwan is yet another representation of the massive troop of Muslims, which are often misinterpreted to be the terrorists! My Name Is Khan is also special because it shows how Indians understand this fact that actions of a misguided few do not and cannot say anything about the entire community.
