The Aamir Khan starrer coming-of-the-age movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar which had created a rage amongst youngsters back then completed 25 years today. The movie tells the story of Sanjay (played by Aamir Khan) aka Sanju Lal Sharma who is a mischievous college kid and his total transformation to being this responsible sportsman who emerges victorious at the end.

Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar introduces us to the stark reality of class division in colleges. One side shows us the lives of spoilt and rich kids dressed in neat boarding school uniform and on the other side, we get to see the not-so-classy local kids.

JJWS successfully weaves a beautiful human story around several themes like sibling love, true friends, dating, rivalry and sportsmanship. The movie uses a language which is relatable to the youth and catchy.
