It's one hell of a party! The Billboard Music Awards is a night dedicated to people in the music business and is held annually.

Held in Las Vegas, everybody who is anybody was present on Sunday night, putting their best fashion foot forward. If you've missed out on all the hot gossip, there's no need to worry, we've got you covered. Here's a run through all the major highlights from the starry night...

1. It was a huge night for singer/rapper Drake. The artist took home 13 awards, beating Adele's record of 12. He beat out Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Adele, Ariana Grande, the Weeknd, Shawn Mendes and the Chainsmokers for top artist.

2. The top artist award was presented to Drake by Prince Jackson, the late Michael Jackson’s eldest son.

3. Beyoncé earned five awards in early winners announced Sunday morning and two more by the end of the night. Drake, on the other hand, earned 10 awards in early winners and picked up an 11th for the top male artist in the first minutes of the show.

4. Nicki Minaj opened the show in Las Vegas with a smashing nine-minute set of her top songs, including her newest - 'No Frauds'

5. Celine Dion performed her super hit 'My heart will go on' from Titanic, under a giant sparkling chandelier. Dressed in a high fashion, white gown with puffy sleeves, her powerful performance floored the audience.

6. The popular EDM group, Chainsmokers, a leading nominee, picked up the first televised award of the night with Halsey for top collaboration for their song “Closer.”

7. A moment of silence was observed for Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, who was found dead Thursday in his hotel room in Detroit.

8. Miley Cyrus presented an all new version of herself - a mellow, 'in love' one, as she performed to her new single 'Malibu'.

9. Playing host for the second year in a row, Ludacris was joined by co-host Vanessa Hudgens, who thrilled the audience with her rapping, imitation and vocal skills.

10. A major highlight of the night was Cher's big moment. The singer won the Billboard's Icon Award as the star-filled crowd applauded in support. The 71-year-old singer performed two of her biggest hits, "Believe" and "If I Could Turn Back Time." Cher accepted the award from Gwen Stefani, and said in her acceptance speech, "I’ve wanted to do what I do since I was 4-years-old...and I've been doing it for 53 years -- and I can do a five-minute plank."

11. Sean Combs aka P Diddy made an appearance to honour the late Notorious B.I.G on his 45th birthday. He also introduced Biggie's son, Christopher Wallace, moving on to unveiling an exclusive preview of the trailer for his new Apple Music documentary - "Can’t Stop Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story."

12. After a mind blowing performance by Imagine Dragons, the band delivered a heartfelt speech in memory of Chris Cornell, the frontman of Soundgarden and Audioslave, who died at age 52 last week.

13. Among the other A-class performances, a mention worthy one was Bruno Mars' 'Versace On The Floor.'

14. Grabbing the opportunity to settle scores, Drake addressed his long-expired tiff with the show's host, Ludacris. "I know we haven't always seen eye to eye," he said, (likely referring to a minor on-record 2011 back-and-forth) "I got a lot of love for you," he set the record straight.

15. Vanessa Hudgens topped the best-dressed list at the Awards show while Hasley was dubbed as the worst
