Baahubali 2: Here's why Prabhas aka Amarendra Baahubali is the ideal husband
We list down the reasons of why we think Amarendra Baahubali is a perfect husband.
Baahubali! Baahubali! Baahubali! - This is what we have been hearing for the last three weeks, all credits to SS Rajamouli's imagination which was executed well by Prabhas who played the titular role, Rana Daggubati as Bhallala Deva, Anushka Shetty as Devasena, Ramya Krishnan as Sivagami, Sathyaraj as Kattappa and Tamannaah Bhatia as Avanthika. From the larger-than-life canvas to VFX to even small details like jewelry designs of Sivagami and Devasena, everything that SS Rajamouli had thought of while scripting his magnum-opus was perfectly displayed on the big screen.
After watching Baahubali, every viewer especially female fans of Prabhas were in awe of the character played by him to perfection - Amarendra Baahubali. Even for that matter, I wished what if I get to marry a guy like him. He was there by his wife's side against all the odds - well, even went against his mother to respect his wife's dignity. Who wouldn't want to marry? Cut to the 21st century, we don't often get to meet such men who are all by our side. Yes! you might agree with me on this point. We are so stuck in the cobwebs of this fast-paced life that we really fear the concept of commitment. But, here we have Amarendra Baahubali who's like a knight in a shining armour. Going by the physical characteristics, he does make us go gaga over him - perfect abs and all the strength that a man can have!
Forget the physical part, Amarendra Baahubali did what we all imagine in our dreams and I am sure that many of the female fans would have secretly wished after watching Baahubali that they get to marry 'The Baahubali'. We give even stronger reasons for proving that Amarendra Baahubali is THE IDEAL HUSBAND!
Always ready with the helping hand when his wife is in trouble!
Well, those who have seen Baahubali would remember the scene very well. In one scene, we saw how Devasena almost lost her balance when she was walking towards the boat. And then, Baahubali jumps into the water and makes a man bridge for wife and Devasena walks over him and gets into the boat. That scene captures this saying perfectly - A king only bows down to his queen! Remember one scene when Devasena's kingdom is in trouble and she decides to fight the goons who have entered their palace and here was Baahubali supporting her and then you see endless arrows hitting the enemies!
Keeps his wife's dignity over and above everything...
For Amarendra Baahubali, Devasena's dignity was more than anything - well, to make it even stronger - let's put it in that way - more important than his commands of his mother. There's one scene where Sivagami puts all chains around Devasena and what happens next will just make you respect him more - "Devsena ko kisi ne haath bhi lagaya toh samjho Baahubali ki talwar ko haath laga diya."
Trust and Promises!
As it's said that in any sort of relationship, trust and respect is more important than just LOVE. Baahubali does all to win our hearts and his respect for Devasena is one of the high points of the movie. You would agree with what I say here - remember when Devasena was about to deliver the 'chirag of the khandaan (Mahendra Baahubali)', Amarendra promises her that he would get save Kattappa and the child's mama will take him in his hands and well, that did happen. Devasena trusted him and Amarendra did live up to it, but at the cost of sacrificing his own life.
Never suppresses her voice...
There are many instances wherein we see Devasena voicing her opinions loud and strong. Baahubali stands by her and never interfere when there is a tiff between Devasena and Sivagami.
Treating his wife's parents as his own!
Sambandhi ek dusre ke gale lagte hai, unke aage jhukte nahi hai mahara - This one dialogue by the king of Mahishmati aka Amrandera Baahubali wins all the praises and every girl wants to be with someone who respects her family truly.
Be an ideal teacher and a guiding light!
What better than your partner helping you excel in what you lack a little. We all know how Baahubali taught Devasena the technique of killing the enemies with three arrows and a bow!
He is HOT!
Last but not the least, Amarendra Baahubali is hot and well, who doesn't want her husband to be smart and hot.
