Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has created a rage amongst fans as it continues to break all the records ever made in the history of Indian Cinema. While many tout it to be a masterpiece, others cannot get over the magnificent piece of art helmed by SS Rajamouli. The movie has went on to create history as it grossed over INR 800 crore worldwide in its first week and is still growing strong. The magnum opus has managed to blur the line between regional and Hindi cinema as the dubbed version performed exceedingly well collecting over INR 265 crore in the first week. What is even more surprising is the amount of love and affection the movie has managed to churn out internationally.
The movie made on a mammoth budget stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj among others in pivotal roles. Baahubali has released in four major languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam).

1. The first film to release in 4K: Baahubali 2 is the first Indian film to be released in 4K High Definition format. With the view to redefine the viewing experience for Indian cinema audiences, more than 200 theatres around the country switched over to special 4K projectors to make sure that this is executed well.
2. Prabhas rejected over 6000 marriage proposals: It was reported that Prabhas received over 6000 marriage proposals while he was shooting for the second installment of the 'Baahubali' franchise. However, the handsome hunk turned down every single one of them down as he was committed to the S.S. Rajamouli's movie. He gave 5 years of his career to this epic drama.
3. Baahubali 2 received adult rating in the UK and Australia: While the Indian Censor Board passed the movie with a U/A certificate, the film received a 15 rating by the British Board of Film Classification and an MA16+ rating by the Australian Classification, both for strong violence. This meant that the film is restricted to audiences 16 and above.
4. Rana Dagubbati is blind from one eye: Rana, who plays the role of Bhallaldeva, the main antagonist in the film, in a recent interview revealed that he is blind from the right eye and yet managed to perform all the high-end action sequences with immense ease.
5. Released in the highest number of screens: While most of the movies release in across 5000 screens max, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion released in a record 9000 screens across the country setting a new record in itself.
6. SS Rajamouli's first choice to play Sivagami was Sridevi, not Ramya Krishna: According to reports, SS Rajamouli had approached Sridevi to play the role of Sivagami, however, Sridevi asked for a remuneration which was beyond Rajamouli's budget. Hence, the role then went to Ramya Krishna. Rest is history now!
7. Biggest poster in the world: The poster of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is the biggest in the world. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion's team created a huge poster and laid it on a sprawling ground during the film's music release in Kochi. With this, the poster has now entered the Guinness Book of World Records for the biggest poster.
8. Rana, Prabhas's physical transformation: Reports suggest that the makers invested over INR 1.5 crore on the gym equipments so that Prabhas and Rana could maintain their physique. This was imperative especially for Prabhas as he had to first gain muscle mass for his role as Amarendra Baaahubali and then had to lose it all to play Shivudu/Mahendra Baahubali. Meanwhile, Rana gained 33 kgs to build a convincing physique to take on a bull single-handedly.
9. Baby Mahendra is played by a girl: As Rajamouli was adamant that the baby's role be played by an infant, the team a hard time finding an infant for the role. They finally found one but she was a female. However, she anyway got cast becoming the youngest cast member.
10. Prabhas met WWE wrestlers to know their workout regime: Prabhas who dedicated almost 5 years of his career for the movie went an extra mile as he met WWE wrestlers to know their fitness regime so that he could get the physique right. Impressive, isn't it?
