Raabta - an unexplained connection - that's what the word means and the trailer of Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon's film weaves its story through the whole concept of unexplained connections. The trailer is out and finally, you get to witness the chemistry between Kriti and Sushant's chemistry which has been in the highlights ever since the film was announced. The posters of the film kept our curiosity meter high.
Going by trailer, the movie has undertones of love and revenge. The major theme is reincarnation and here we have Jim Sarbh's entry making it an edge of the seat thriller.
After we watched the trailer, we figured out five takeaways. They are as follows:
Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon's crackling chemistry
Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon's crackling chemistry - be it onscreen or off screen - has been grabbing eyeballs. In the trailer, you will get to witness their bond. Everything about them is just magical! From their kisses to their conversations, their chemistry is to watch out for.
Jim Sarbh's entry
Every story which has raja and rani will have someone who is ready to destroy their bond. Here comes Jim Sarbh and his entry catches your attention. His introduction in the trailer is such that for sure you know that he'll change the tide of the story. Both his modern and historic looks are drool-worthy. What do you have to say about?
Dialogues
Any trailer without impactful dialogues doesn't really attract the audience. The trailer starts with Sushant and Kriti's conversation.
Sushant: Oye Rani, itne pass na aana, kahin pyaar na ho jaye!
Kriti: Aur tu bhi Raja, mujhe aise mat dekh, main koi khaane ki cheez nai hoon
Sushant: Toh phir kya hai?
Kriti: Hamesha hamesha ke liye paas rakhe ne ki cheez hoon
Isn't that cute?
Jim's dialogue also makes you wait for the film even more - Bas ek mujhse hi pyaar kar sakti ho tum
And the whole story changes!
Reincarnation, Love and Death
Talking about the change, the film deals with the themes of reincarnation, death, and love. Interestingly, how the astons have been used in the trailer is something you'll notice if you are a cinematic buff. From the makers of Love Aaj Kal and Cocktail to Badlapur, the whole trajectory of the trailer changes from love to revenge and something fishy. At the end, it's like everything is connected. Isn't it?
Irrfan's voiceover
Phir Sadiyon tak log kahenge ki ek tha raja, ek thi rani, dono margaye khatam kahaani - Irrfan's voiceover just makes the whole even more impactful. His strong and raw voice is at its best when he says - Ab yeh bhi koi kahaani hai, chalo kahaani badlte hai, raja badalte hai, rani badalte hai, pyaar ka andaaz badalte hai, kal jo adhoora tha aaj badalte hai and the story slips into past and runs parallel with present.
Everything is Connected!
