Birthday Special: Shahid Kapoor's quotes on Mira Rajput prove he is the perfect husband!

A cute chocolatey face entered the industry in 2003 and girls went gaga over him and we are talking about none other than Shahid Kapoor. Teenagers, back then, started hanging the posters of Shahid on their walls. The 36-year-old actor was indeed an eligible bachelor and girls were dying to propose him for marriage. 

But, then one day you wake up to see the news of Shahid getting married to Mira Rajput. Fans wanted to know about the lucky one and the only question popping up on the internet was- Who is Mira Rajput? Well, she was from Delhi and was to get married to him. After they got hitched, their pictures went viral and gossipmongers started talking about the age gap between the duo. 

Well, proving all the haters wrong, Shahid and Mira were just going strong. From their vacation pictures to them being clicked in the parties, Shahid was at his chivalrious best. Their signature was and still is holding each other's hands and posing for the pictures. 

In an interview, he just gave it back to those who always had issues with their age gap, "A mainstream star having an arranged marriage is unique. It is not every day that a Hindi film hero goes and marries someone no one even knows of. I am an actor. Most parts of my life are up for discussion, by default. It won't stop whether I like it or not. If people cross the line, we do get displeased. But the line itself is wide. We can't be touchy and say, 'bhai mere baare mein koi baat nahi karega'."

Recently, the two even made an appearance on Koffee With Karan where the two just were into each other and their love was out on screen for others to witness. It's just not Shahid who stands by Mira, but even she makes sure that she does something special for her husband. They were also in news when they shared the picture of their darling daughter, Misha.
